Confused by the newest WordPress update and the updated Widget dashboard?  If you go to Appearance > Widgets and see something like so:

It can be confusing and upsetting, but not to worry!  Nothing at all is wrong with your blog, and it is very easy to revert back to the Classic WordPress widget layout.  Just follow the 3 simple steps below to install and activate the Classic Widgets plugin:

Simply go in your blog dashboard to Appearance > Widgets and in the upper right top corner search “Classic Widgets”.  You will see the Classic Widgets plugin appear (the one with the blue gradient square).  Just click the Install Now button and then activate.  That’s it!  Your widget dashboard will appear as it always did.
