So over the past few years I’ve pretty much lost interest in Coachella and music festivals in general, the last one I’ve been to was Governor’s Ball and that one is totally doable because uh, there’s no camping! But that doesn’t mean that I don’t still love the music and I don’t still love the fashion! I listened to the Coachella livestream most of the weekend on XMU (my picks? Bon Iver, Car Seat Headrest, Real Estate, Future Islands, Guided by Voices, Phantogram, Tennis and I’m actually really digging the new XX album even though I’m generally not a big fan). I haven’t had a chance to go through the street style blogs and pins yet but so much of it (the flower crowns, the ankle bracelets, the midi dresses) are just not my jam. I’m loving these Isabel Marant-inspired vests though, this is festival style I can get behind! Tailored with an ethno-boho edge, just my vibe!
