I don’t know if I have ever blogged about my great love for Jackie Kennedy, but I am not ashamed to admit I am somewhat obsessed!  As you may know, I lived in New England, I met my husband in New England, I go to New England a lot, and to me she just embodies that reserved chic sense of style.  She was filled with grace and dignity (a quality that so many politicians and celebrities are sorely lacking in these days) and in my humble opinion will always be an American icon.  You would think I would have rushed out the door the day the new Natalie Portman biopic came out, but I haven’t made it yet, perhaps tonight.  In my opinion Natalie Portman sometimes takes herself too seriously which is annoying, but on the other hand I can’t think of anyone better to portray Jackie than Jackie herself, so I’ll give it a go.  I have a Jackie pic in my bedroom (of course, hanging by my closet) but I love the color in this one, anyway, if you’ve seen the movie I’d love to hear about it, enjoy the weekend!
