I’m back on the portraits, ya’ll.  Since Pinterest has tweaked totally messed with its algorithms, it’s kind of hit or miss on what will come up in my feed (you can read more about my Pinterest rant here) but since I pinned some fab portrait art the other day, I got the unexpected bonus of even more incredible work in my feed and I wanted to share it.  I’m not a fine artist, or a photographer so I have a ton of admiration for this kind of stuff, it’s one thing to sit at a computer all day and quite another to actually break out the paint brushes (a lot messier too).  If you’re looking to collect art, there are tons of posts and guides, but my simple rule is buy what you love, and what speaks to you.  I’ve built up a small collection of art over the years and I really treasure it, each piece has a story, and while it’s doubtful that it will greatly increase in value, it has sentimental value which is what I prize in my home.  So get inspired, it’s never too late to start!
