I know it’s ice cold winter (we have had almost record lows in Vermont this year), and of course I crave warm, heavy carbs, but my thoughts also always turn to warm, tropical things as well because it’s so gray and cold. I’m a huge fan of food photography, there’s something about artists who take the most simple of items: a tangerine, a pitcher of milk, and turn them into true art. Already tired of the endless gray and cold of winter? Don’t forget your vitamin C! Even if oranges aren’t in season, try a fresh cold glass or orange juice or think outside the box with a smoothie instead of boring cold cereal or a fatty breakfast sandwich instead!
