I love a mixture of high and low, old and new, rough and luxe.  Which is why I’m loving these inspiration shots.  I’m usually sort of picky about blue but you can’t really go wrong with a deep blue velvet.  There is so much to love about these spaces, the fantastic, overstuffed mantel, and who doesn’t love a bar cart?!  You could probably get one like this at like Ikea, and then dress it up with a stack of books, black and white photography and cut glass decanters.  Get inspired!
