We all know that subway tile is soooo 2007, but what if it’s combined with some vintage artwork and heirloom hanging utensils. Or what about replacing that basic stainless sink with an enamel farmhouse basin? Brass fixtures or taking coastal bathroom tile into the kitchen as an unexpected backsplash and offsetting the modern capiz vibe with vintage stoneware and wood, all amazing design ideas that don’t break the bank! I’m in the process of selecting a backsplash in fact, so much to choose from! I get way more stressed on the small stuff, who doesn’t, but I know that even I don’t love what we choose as much as I thought, accessories and thoughtful touches always save the day!
